Dead Reckoning: A Generation Ship Simulation
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Dead Reckoning is a side-view colony ship simulation game currently in early development.
You are the ship. Your crew is in cryosleep. The voyage will take generations. Your job is to keep them alive, keep the ship running, and deliver something worth arriving for.
Every run begins the same way: a ship, a crew, and the void. What drifts from there is up to you.
What's in the beta:
- Core simulation loop
- Resource and crew management
- The Drift system — decisions that compound across the voyage
- Early build, rough edges included
This is a very early release. Expect missing features, placeholder art, and the occasional crash. Feedback and bug reports are genuinely welcomed — there's a community tab and I read everything.
If you enjoy it, pay what you want. If you're broke, take it free. Either way, consider leaving a comment — it helps more than you'd think.
Linux Note — itch.io may warn players the file needs chmod +x. You can add an itch.io page note or rely on the itch app (which handles it automatically).
